The party started out on social media with a viral meme trend featuring Pakistani influencer and content maker Dananeer Mobeen, Who unified all the lovers of desi memes and ‘pawri’! In the video, Dananeer, a Peshawar-born 19-year-old social media influencer, is seen having fun with her friends and saying, “Yeh hamari car hei aur yeh hum hein, aur yeh hamari Pawri horahi hei” (This is our car, this is us and this is our party).

Dananeer produces content on a variety of subjects, including the latest trends in make-up and fashion. She also talks about mental health problems that affect Pakistan’s youth. Yashraj Mukhate, the Mumbai-based music composer, released a new peppy anthem by adding music and beats to the ‘pawri’ girl’s video, taking the chance to turn the video into a meme. Mukhate captioned the video by sharing his unique production on Instagram as: “Aajse me party nahi karunga Sirf pawri karunga. Kyuki party karneme wo mazaa nahi jo pawri karneme hai (I won’t pa pa pa from today).
Yashraj thanked all the people who sent him personal messages and urged him to use Dananeer’s video to construct a peculiar rap.
